St. Albans Artist Guild and the Friends of the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge present the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge Project. The Missisquoi Wildlife Refuge Project is a benefit project where member photographers of the Saint Albans Artists' Guild have captured images from the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge and then Member Artists from the Guild have produced artwork from these images.
The images and artwork will be used for the benefit of both the "Friends of the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge" and the "Saint Albans Artists' Guild" by way of an art exhibition & sale. The exhibit will feature our fine artists' and photographers' works created specifically for drawing attention to the wildlife and the natural beauty of the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge. Compositions are comprised of reflections of the wildlife; its waters; scenic landscape; or the artist's interpretation of these; not excluding abstract or contemporary works. There will be approximately 49 pieces of photographic imagery and painted artwork combined. All the works will be displayed in the halls of the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge building for a month-long exhibit beginning with a reception on June 28th. The reception is open to the public, so mark your calendars, tell your friends, and please join us for this wonderful event! The exhibit & reception will begin Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.Reception: Saturday, June 28, 2008Time: 2:00PM - 5:00PMExhibit: June 28, 2008 through July 31, 2008Place: Missisquoi Wildlife Refuge, 29 Tabor Road, Swanton, Vermont
